This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for CBM Ready Mix for the operation of three ready-mix concrete batching plants, located in Bowmanville, Ontario.

This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere including raw material storage and handling, ready-mix concrete storage and shipping, baghouses, and maintenance operations and activities. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • particulate matter
  • respirable crystalline silica
  • calcium carbonate
  • portland cement
  • slag
  • calcium oxide
  • chromium, and
  • nickel
