Oakville is not a transit oriented community. Let the province provide transit at 10 minute intervals into Toronto at the cost of a Toronto subway ticket before it calls Oakville a TOC. Read more

This will lead to mega density without sufficient infrastructure to support it. Provincial and private interests are overriding municipal planning. OPA70 is a better alternative. It would build homes faster. Read more

The province's MZOs for midtown Oakville are irresponsible and without regard for the people who actually live in Oakville. How can this be jammed thru without due process? I say NO to these proposals. The local government should not be disregarded.

Oakville’s official plan was developed with input from residence in town officials and it meets all the requirements set forth. I see these MZOs to be a Grose overriding of our local democracy. Read more

The economic and viability case for these MZOs and this project has collapsed. The condominium market has both collapsed and shifted, with the market no longer supporting high rise projects dominated by studios and one-bedroom units, which is the configuration this TOC proposes. Read more
