I vote NO for these MZOs for the following reasons - This TOC is not about delivering housing; it is about maximizing developer land value at the expense of livability, infrastructure capacity, and the public interest.  Read more

I have been a resident in the Town of Oakville all my life. Oakville IS and has always been a well planned community in which to live. No one in Oakville is opposed to development. Read more

I live and work within Mid-town Oakville. I have always known since moving to my current address that Mid-town was intended to be a high density area, and have no issue with that. Read more

These MZOs defy common sense, allowing a density in Midtown that is more than double that of any comparable development in the GTA and without the infrastructure to support it. Im likely gone before this ever gets built, but it's wrong and should not be forced on the community like this. Read more

This Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) fails to comply with Premier Ford’s Build Homes Faster agenda and will not deliver a single home before 2031, the Province’s own housing deadline, and will take 25 years to complete. OPA70 is a better alternative and is ready to go. Read more
