As a resident of South East Oakville, I have experienced the traffic congestion along Cornwall and Trafalgar Roads daily during rush hour as well as certain times on holidays and weekends. It's already crazy and adding another 8-10,000 apartment dwellers in the area is poor planning. Read more

Please do not turn Oakville into anything resembling downtown Toronto. That’s not why people want to live here. Sure the town has to grow but not like this. I don’t believe several thousand people crammed together is going to make anyone happy just because they can walk to a Go station. Read more

The residents of Oakville completely and uniformly OPPOSE these four MZOs for Midtown. The density is highly destructive, the plan has no community services, and the unsightly towers are obtuse. Oakville's OPA will instead serve our community in a respectful, organized plan. Read more

These MZOs represent a profound override of local democracy despite Oakville’s full compliance with provincial policies and proven track record of growth and housing development. Read more

This Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) fails to comply with Premier Ford’s Build Homes Faster agenda and will not deliver a single home before 2031, the Province’s own housing deadline, and will take 25 years to complete. OPA70 is a better alternative and is ready to go. Read more
