City of Cambridge supports the use of electronic submissions and removal of the requirement for information and material to include an original or certified copy to make the submissions more efficient to submit.
The City supports the regulatory changes under ERO Posting 026-0305 that would facilitate the electronic submission of information and materials and allow required notices to be provided electronically to the Ministry and Municipal Affairs and Housing.

I am very much against this legislation because it removed the ability for municipalities to have green standards. This bill won't help build things any faster, but will result in substandard construction that has detrimental environmental impacts.
