This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) No. 9619-BG7JNC issued to Niagara Energy Products, Inc. manufacturers of storage containers used to support the nuclear power industry at a facility located in the City of Niagara Falls, Ontario.

This amendment was prepared to acknowledge the process of replacing damaged or non-functional fume extraction devices on-Site.

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • manganese,
  • nitrogen oxides,
  • nickel,
  • chromium (hexavalent),
  • slag,
  • talc, and
  • particulate matter.
