We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval to Erik Gerard Daly for subsurface sewage disposal works to service a three bedroom cottage located at 998 10th Road West, Conestogo Lake, Township of Mapleton, County of Wellington.
Amendments were made to O. Reg. 267/03 under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002 to remove the five-year expiry of the Agricultural Operation Planning certificate. Housekeeping amendments to the Regulation and Protocol were also made to add clarity. No changes were made to the proposal as a result of consultation.
A decision has been made to implement an automatic financial penalty as part of a graduated penalty approach for hunters who fail to submit their mandatory hunter report(s). This penalty is an additional tool to promote hunter reporting compliance and improve reporting data used to make wildlife management decisions.
