The Permit to Take Water No. P-300-5274624752 was issued to A. L. Blair Construction Limited - Cinnamon Quarry on July 29, 2024, to renew the permit 3537-9EPMTV. Water will be taken from two wells and one pond on Benson George Road for dewatering and water supply purposes.

Permit to Take Water No. 5452-D4EHER was issued to GolfNorth Management Corp., operating as Rebel Creek Golf Club for 10 years. Water will be taken from one well and one pond for golf course irrigation purposes, located in Petersburg, Ontario.

The Permit to Take Water No. P-300-8262547761 was issued to Otter Creek Sand and Gravel Inc. on July 30, 2024. Water will be taken from one pond for aggregate washing purposes at the Mildmay Pit, located in South Bruce, Ontario.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) with Limited Operational Flexibility was issued to Freudenberg-NOK, Inc., a manufacturing facility located in Tillsonburg, Ontario.

The Permit to Take Water No. P-300-7268907618 was issued to Construction Jadco Inc. on July 29, 2024. Water will be taken from one pond for construction dewatering purposes at 150 Laurier Avenue West, located in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

On July 26, 2024, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister’s Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 304/24 in the City of Barrie. The Zoning Order was requested by the Minister of Long-Term Care to accelerate the development of a long-term care (LTC) facility.

We have issued a new multi-site Environmental Compliance Approval (geothermal) for 2068929 Ontario Inc., operating as Buchanan & Hall, to install vertical closed loop geothermal systems. Buchanan & Hall operates across Ontario drilling boreholes and installing closed loop geothermal heat exchangers in these boreholes.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on July 24, 2024 in respect of Application 60-C-218169 for one (1) of two (2) new lots on lands described as PIN 42150-3190 on Ptarmigan Bay, Lake of the Woods, District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed is August 13, 2024.
