Ontario Parks has amended the Devil’s Glen Provincial Park Management Plan and has added 18 hectares (ha) of acquired land to the park. The approved management plan will protect nature and biodiversity, while also allowing for ecologically sustainable outdoor recreation to occur.

An renewal of an Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air) has been issued to Apotex Inc. The facility is a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, producing approximately 80 different pharmaceutical products, located in the City of Toronto, Ontario.

This decision is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for the establishment of seasonal subsurface sewage disposal works rated at 30,000 litres per day, to service Camp Howland youth camp located at 5373 Haliburton County Road 121, in the Township of Minden Hills, Ontario.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval No. 8637-DL6J3S to North Glengarry BESS Inc. for the establishment of spill containment works and stormwater management works serving the proposed battery energy storage system (BESS) site located at 1454 Skye Road in North Glengarry, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 6152-DMNRPY was issued to GolfNorth Properties Inc. on October 27, 2025. Water will be taken from one well, one watercourse and one pond, located in Paris, Ontario, for golf course irrigation purposes.

The Permit to Take Water No. 1733-DPMQ6H was issued to Seguin Valley Golf Club Inc. on December 30, 2025, to renew the Permit No. 8078-A4ELQN. Water will be taken from one lake for commercial golf course irrigation purposes, located in Seguin, Ontario.

The Permit to Take Water No. 3760-DMG5QQ was issued to Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation on December 1, 2025, to renew the Permit No. 2051-9ZKMZA. Water will be taken from one drilled well for potable well supply, located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-7366334179 was issued on November 20, 2025, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 6572-A3WQ3G for the purpose of aggregate washing. Water will be taken from one pond, for 10 years.

A decision was made on November 18, 2025 to approve Official Plan Amendment 62 to the City of Kitchener Official Plan, as adopted by By-law 2025-048. Official Plan Amendment 62 implements Strategic Growth Area land use planning framework for three Protected Major Transit Stations: Block Line, Fairway, and Sportsworld.

Costco Wholesale Canada Ltd. requested to withdraw their application for an Environmental Compliance Approval. The application is considered withdrawn, and no approval was issued.

A new regulation has been made under the Environmental Assessment Act (EAA) that sets out requirements Hydro One Networks Inc. (Hydro One) will need to undertake to proceed with the Northeast Power Line Project (Project) and for the EAA not to apply to the Project. Hydro One is collaborating with a consortium of First Nations partners.
