We have expanded the boundaries of 26 protected areas (13 provincial parks and 13 conservation reserves) and created 12 new protected areas ( 2 provincial parks and 10 conservation reserves). These changes provide increased opportunities for recreational activities and contribute to the long-term sustainability of Ontario’s natural heritage.

The Ministry has revised the Northwest GTA Transmission Corridor’s Narrowed Area of Interest (NAI) following further technical study. The changes preserve a technically viable corridor for future transmission infrastructure adjacent to Highway 413 and reduce land use impacts, particularly in the Heritage Heights area of Brampton.

This decision is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for the establishment of subsurface sewage disposal works rated at 1,600 litres per day, to service a cottage located at 30 Third Line Road, in the Township of Centre Wellington.
