Lafarge Canada Inc. underwent a corporate name change in June 2025 to Amrize Canada Inc. Amrize Canada Inc. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Clearview. 

An Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) has been granted to Amrize Canada Inc. (formerly Lafarge Canada Inc.), for its ready-mix concrete batching plant located in the City of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
