A director’s order was issued to past and current owners of 1376 County Road 2, Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands, requiring the delineation of fuel related contamination originating from the property.
On August 28, 2020, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 475/20 to permit a 320-bed long-term care facility and associated uses.
The Zoning Order supports the province’s Accelerated Build Pilot Program to enable the development of long-term care.
On October 30, 2020, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 607/20 which permits a mix of commercial, employment, and residential uses in the City of Pickering. The City of Pickering requested the Minister consider making a Zoning Order.
On August 12, 2020, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O.Reg.) 448/20 to facilitate the development of long-term care and housing. The Zoning Order supports the government’s initiative to enable long-term care development on government-owned lands.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 58-C-189386 for the creation of one (1) new resource-based recreational lot for land described as PIN 62279-9513 and PIN 62279-9515, Whitefish Lake, Unincorporated Township of Hardwick & Jean, District of Thunder Bay.
In February 2026, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming amended Ontario Regulation 194/24: Zoning Order - Ontario Place as enabled by section 6 of the Rebuilding Ontario Place Act, 2023 and section 47 of the Planning Act.
A decision was made to proceed with the proposal as described in Environmental Registry posting #013-1669, which will provide an extension to the current regulation for forestry operations in managed Crown forests, include those species listed in 2017 in applicable regulations, and implement changes relating to safe harbour authorizations.
A new Environmental Compliance Approval is granted to Land O'Lakes Community Services, operating as Pine Meadow Nursing Home, for the replacement/repair and upgrade to existing subsurface sewage disposal works rated at 31,425 litres/day and serving a nursing home located at 124 Lloyd Street, Addington Highlands, Ontario.

Approval was granted for a licence amendment to allow T & B Aggregates Inc. to increase the number of tonnes of aggregate to be removed annually for licence No. 4630, operating in the Municipality of South Bruce, County of Bruce.
On March 4, 2022, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act with the Registrar of Regulations as O. Reg. 159/22 to permit industrial, commercial and park uses on the subject lands. The City of Kingston requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.
On April 6, 2021, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed an Amending Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 260/21 which amends O. Reg. 474/20 to provide relief from certain zoning requirements to facilitate the development of a 320-bed long-term care home on a portion of the property.
On January 20, 2023, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed an amendment to Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 170/20 made pursuant to clause 47(8) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as O. Reg. 6/23.

We have established the Species Conservation Action Agency to invest in strategic, large-scale, and coordinated actions that will support more positive outcomes for select species at risk. We also created regulations to enable use of the Species at Risk Conservation Fund and expand conditional exemptions for activities with standard approaches.
