We have approved a new Permit to Take Water No. 8520-BDKJWH for Ainslie Hill I Inc. for construction dewatering purposes to allow for the installation of municipal services and basements, and the construction of a stormwater management pond and sewage pumping station at the site.

The Permit To Take Water No. P-300-2301136423 was issued to Mattamy (Northwoods) Limited on December 19, 2024. Water will be taken from two ponds for construction dewatering purpose, located at 1020 March Road in the City of Ottawa, Ontario for 8 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 1263-DBSTK9 has been issued to Fowler Construction Company Limited, renewing Permit to Take Water No. 8275-B9YS6T for construction dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from Fleming Quarry, located at 3230 Switch Road in Washago, Ontario for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 5150-D7QQ6V was issued to Black & McDonald Limited on August 14, 2024, to amend the permit 1751-B7VJ2D. Water will be taken from three ponds for construction dewatering purposes, located in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

An amended Approval has been issued for Algoma Steel Inc. to for the proposed sewage works in support of Algoma’s transition to electric arc furnace steelmaking at the manufacturing facility located in Sault Ste. Marie.

Permit to Take Water No. 7637-DMMRK2 was issued to The Briars Golf Club renewing Permit to Take Water No. 4275-A4SKYY for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from the Black River, located in the Town of Georgina, Regional Municipality of York, Ontario.

This new Permit to Take Water servicing De Beers Canada Inc. for open pit infilling purposes was approved on February 27, 2020 under Permit No. 2874-BLNQ98. The permit expires on February 27, 2030.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-8189396217 on April 26, 2023 for Stella-Jones Inc. in the Township of Centre Wellington, Ontario for the purposes of manufacturing. The new permit expires on April 26, 2033.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, this Application for Consent 58-C-219313 was given conditional approval on July 6, 2021 and was amended on February 7, 2023 for the creation of one new resource-based recreational lot in the Unincorporated Township of Conacher, District of Thunder Bay. The last date to appeal decision is February 27, 2023

Permit to Take Water No. 2403-D48L4F was issued to Lafarge Canada Inc. and Steed & Evans Holdings Inc. operating as Nelson Aggregate Co. on April 18, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 1763-AWUNA2 for quarry dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from two sources in the Township of Severn, County of Simcoe, Ontario for 10 years.

The Permit to Take Water No. 1575-DCVMC5 was issued to GIP Interpaving Ltd. on January 15, 2025, to renew PTTW No. 8632-95XKSA for industrial purposes. Water will be taken from one well, located in the City of Greater Sudbury, Ontario for 10 years.

Two Certificates of Property Use were issued for the site. A portion of the property has different applicable site condition standards than those which apply to the remainder of the property. Therefore, the property was assessed through two separate risk assessments.

Permit to Take Water No. 6328-DKGJMY was issued to The North Bay Golf and Country Club, Limited on September 29, 2025. Water will be taken from one well, one pond and one watercourse for the purpose of golf course irrigation.
