The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing received a request to make a Minister’s Zoning Order in the Town of Midland. The Ministry is seeking input on whether this request should be considered and any additional information that may help inform the Minister’s decision-making.
On March 24, 2023, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed an amendment to the Zoning Order O. Reg. 771/21, made pursuant to clause 47(8) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as O. Reg. 54/23.
On July 2, 2020, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 343/20 to permit 56 dwelling units in the form of modular supportive housing. The Minister's Zoning Order was made based on a request from the City of Toronto.
