We updated the Ministry of Economic Development and Growth’s Statement of Environmental Values to incorporate changes to the ministry's name, structure and mandate.

Approval was granted to allow Mann Construction Group Ltd. to increase the allowable maximum annual tonnage that can be removed from the site, operating in the Township of Centre Wellington.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow St. Marys Cement Inc. (Canada) (CBM Aggregates) to extract below the water table in the Municipality of Thames Centre.

An increase in the annual number of tonnes of aggregate to be removed from licence No. 624927 located in the Township of North Dumfries was approved. 

A decision was made to change the name of O. Reg. 240/00 (previously Mine Development and Closure Under Part VII of the Act) to include a reference to advanced exploration. The new name of the regulation is Advanced Exploration, Mine Development and Closure Under Part VII of the Act.

Approval is granted to amend the existing site waste approval by amending condition 6.1 to incorporate regulatory changes made to the blue box recycling program.

Approval was granted for a licence amendment to allow Carmeuse Lime (Canada) Limited to amalgamate Licence No. 2129 with Licence No. 2130 and No. 2136 under the reference number of ARA Licence No. 2129. Approval was also granted to vary the tonnage condition for the amalgamated ARA license No. 2129.

Updates were made to the Off-Farm Anaerobic Digestion Materials Protocol under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002. These changes ensure consistent eligibility of organic waste materials from the production of ingredients used in food, animal feed, pet food, ethanol, and biodiesel production, irrespective of where the ingredients are produced. 

After receiving feedback from Indigenous communities and further analysis, we decided not to proceed with the proposed amendment to O. Reg 328/03 and pursued an alternative approach.

We made changes to modernize the pesticides licensing program and this allows us to provide online service delivery. This will make the program more efficient and transparent and will ensure protection of human health and the environment.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow Drew Harrison Haulage Ltd. to amend the current site plan to allow for the importation of 500,250 m³ of excess soil to restore the site to its original grade in Prince Edward County.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow Stephens and Company Glencairn Limited to adjust the final grades to improve the agricultural capability of the site post extraction in the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio.

Approval was granted for a licence amendment to allow the licensees, operating in the Municipality of South Bruce, to increase the maximum number of tonnes of aggregate to be removed from the site in each calendar year.

The government has made legislative changes to the Planning Act through the Fighting Delays, Building Faster Act, 2025 (Bill 60).

Approval was granted to amend the site plan of ARA licence #3703 issued to Terra-Rock Holdings Inc. in the Township of New Tecumseth.

The amendment to the regulation will provide options for milk producers to use containers that are widely accepted in recycling programs or are managed through a deposit return program. This will provide flexibility to milk producers while still protecting the environment.

The Ministry of Infrastructure has updated its Statement of Environmental Values (SEV) to reflect changes to its organizational structure and expanded mandate.
