A new aggregate licence was issued to Giofam Investments Inc. to remove aggregate from a quarry below the water table in the Township of Dalton. The licence allows the operator to excavate 200,000 tonnes per calendar year.

Freymond Lumber Ltd. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a quarry in the Town of Bancroft.

G. Tackaberry and Sons Construction Company Limited application for a Class A licence to extract aggregate from below the water table has been issued. This new licence replaces aggregate licences #3944 and #4011.

A decision has been made to implement an automatic financial penalty as part of a graduated penalty approach for hunters who fail to submit their mandatory hunter report(s). 9352-5608 Quebec Inc. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Geographic Township Poitras Twp., near the unincorporated town of Thorne, Ontario.

The licensee has received consent for a site plan amendment to allow for roadside setbacks along County Road 31 and Road 5 East to be reduced to 15 metres, from the existing 30 metres, and to backfill the former setback area (between 15 metres to 30 metres) to original grade.

Dufferin Aggregates a Division of CRH Canada Group Inc. application for a Class A licence to extract aggregate from above the water table and for the establishment of a new pit known as the Alps Pit, has been approved.
