The Minister has issued an overall benefit permit under the Endangered Species Act, 2007 (ESA) to The City of Hamilton for road construction activities that may impact Blanding’s Turtle and its habitat. The permit includes actions to benefit the species and minimize adverse effects and requires monitoring and reporting.

Permit to Take Water No.7760-D32QLH was issued to eQuinelle Developments Inc. renewing Permit to Take Water No. 3503-9ENK63 for construction dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from four ponds, located in Kemptville, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, Ontario for 5 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 1132-D8RQ8X was issued to Lavern Heideman & Sons Limited to renew Permit to Take Water No. 3415-9MGPM9 for other Industrial purpose. Water will be taken from one pond, located in Eganville, County of Renfrew, Ontario for 10 years.
