The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is revoking the Central Pickering Development Plan, pursuant to subsection 4(8) of the Ontario Planning and Development Act, 1994.

This approval is to renew existing permit to take water No. 0712-7PDNLT for dead livestock processing (industrial) purposes (associated with gasification system and pollution control equipment). Permit No. 1843-BAPP8T was issued on March 28, 2019 for a period of 10 years.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-3156880320 on May 26, 2022 for Tribute (Simcoe Street) Limited. Water will be taken through a permanent sub-slab drainage system for long-term dewatering purposes serving a proposed development, located in the City of Oshawa, Ontario.

The new permit has an expiry date of May 4, 2032.

A new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-2180651519 was issued to Dandaw Developments Limited on September 27, 2022 for a period of three years. Water will be taken from one well for construction dewatering located in the City of Toronto, Ontario.

A new Permit to Take Water was issued for water supply purposes. Water will be taken from the Pipestone River located in the District of Kenora, Ontario. It was approved on May 4, 2021 under permit No. 6247-BZ7KSN.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-24-000057 to Frontline Gold Corporation for early exploration activities.

The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.

We issued this new Environmental Compliance Approval for the construction of domestic sewage disposal works, with a maximum design daily flow of 59,000 litres per day to service a four-unit building (mixed warehouse and office use) located at 1650 Halls Road North in the Town of Whitby, Ontario.

Application 60-C-190125 was approved on October 9, 2019 subject to conditions. The effect of this application is to create a new lot for resource-based recreational use. The last date of appeal of this decision under the Planning Actis October 29, 2019.

Related application 60-C-171066 was also approved.

To make the Excess Soil Regulation more practical and focused on higher-risk movements of soil, Ontario has finalized amendments to Ontario Regulation 406/19 and the Soil Rules to remove the excess soil reuse planning requirements for projects on low-risk sites and to provide more flexibility when storing excess soil.

An amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) No. 7667-8KCQDY was issued to Imperial Oil Limited for a new loading arm design at the rail loading bays and associated vapour combustion unit in Haldimand, Ontario.
