We have made updates to the Registration Guidance Manual for Generators of Liquid Industrial and Hazardous Waste (guidance manual), to support the regulated community in complying with hazardous waste management rules and requirements. The updates align with regulatory changes that take effect January 1, 2023.

The Minister has entered into a stewardship agreement with the Canadian Chestnut Council (the Steward) for the purpose of assisting in the recovery of American Chestnut for a 15-year period. A decision was made on April 11, 2023, to approve, with modifications, Official Plan Amendment 119 to the County of Wellington Official Plan, as adopted by By-law 5760-22. Official Plan Amendment 119 is Phase 1 of the County's municipal comprehensive review.

The Plan of Subdivision for 12 recreational lots on lands adjacent to Munro Lake, Munro unincorporated township, Cochrane District was redlined and granted approval subject to conditions on September 1, 2021. The last date to appeal the decision is September 21, 2021.

This decision is for a new Permit To Take Water for Concord Adex Investments Limited. Water will be taken from one well for foundation drainage purposes in the City of Toronto, Ontario. Permit To Take Water number P-300-4103102740 was issued on January 8, 2021 and expires on January 6, 2031.

A new PTTW 0041-BF3LQJ has been issued to Toronto Standard Condominium Corporation No. 2669 on September 9, 2019 for the purpose of infiltrating water in a residential building located in Toronto, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of August 31, 2029.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) was issued to The Sarjeant Company Limited for the establishment of sewage works, to service proposed Waverley Heights Subdivision, for the management of stormwater run-off from land legally described as Part of Lot 76, Concession 1 in the Township of Tay, Ontario.

This Permit to Take Water No. 1621-AKFQS2 for golf course irrigation for Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club Inc. will be taken from Irrigation Well PW 1-19 located in Thornton, Ontario. This permit was signed and released June 18, 2021 under permit no. 6534-C44HYT
