The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-22-000292 to Martin Ethier for early exploration activities.

The decision is to: issue the mineral exploration permit.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-20-000290 to Pavey Ark Minerals Incorporated for early exploration activities located approximately 81 kilometres south, southeast of Hearst Ontario, in Hawkins and Walls, District of Algoma, Northeast Region.

The decision is to Issue the Permit.

Permit to Take Water No. 5210-BTWNQA was issued to Imperial Oil Limited. Water will be taken for construction dewatering purposes.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is proceeding with amendments to Ontario Regulation 73/23. The amendments will:

1. Expand the list of municipalities to which the regulation applies.
2. Improve the quality, completeness, and utility of the information reported. 
3. Require municipalities to make public a summary of the data reported.

The Ministry of Mines (the "Ministry") has reviewed the feedback gathered on “Seeking input on opportunities to improve Ontario’s mineral exploration assessment work regime”.  A summary of the feedback received has been outlined herein. 

This variance has been approved.

The variance is approved for two years.

The Permit to Take Water No. 1415-DLRL77 was issued to Wayne Peter Steffler on September 25, 2025, to renew the Permit No. 4213-9XCNZG. Water will be taken from six wells for aquaculture purposes, located in Blandford-Blenheim, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-31552825369 (version 2) has been issued to Amrize Canada Inc., for the Brockville Quarry. Water will be taken from the quarry sump for dewatering, aggregate washing, dust suppression, and construction purposes in Brockville, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 2416-DPTL2K has been issued to 2869936 Ontario Inc. Water will be taken from five ponds in Plympton-Wyoming, Ontario, for golf course irrigation purposes.

Approval was issued for the establishment, usage and operation of non-municipal works, for the treatment of sanitary sewage from the Uni-Fab Metal Fabrication Facility and Garage Condominiums (staff accommodation).

On December 18, 2020 the ministry issued an exploration permit located approximately 100 kilometres northwest of Wabauskang First Nation, Ontario, in Todd Township, District of Kenora, North West Region.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 1127-BUZT6E has been issued to Residences of Edenbridge on the Kingsway Inc. on November 4, 2020 for construction dewatering and remediation purposes in the City of Toronto, Ontario.

The environmental assessment requirements for the York1 waste disposal site project were removed with the Royal Assent of the Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025, on June 5, 2025, to help provide additional waste capacity in Ontario.

A Permit to Take Water No. 3202-CMTRAJ was issued to Watson's Glen Golf Club Limited on January 25, 2023 to renew permit No. 0312-A8TL5B for commercial purposes for 10 years. Water will be taken from three wells for golf course irrigation located in the City of Pickering, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 4486-D4KJLT has been issued to Teeswater Concrete Ltd. on August 9, 2024, for the purposes of renewing Permit No. 1154-AZELR6 for industrial purposes. Water will be taken from two (2) wells, in Tiverton, Ontario for a period of 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-3261695663 was issued to Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club Inc. on April 26, 2024, to renew Permit No. 0037-9GQMG2. Water will be taken from one pond and one creek for golf course irrigation purposes.

A Permit to Take Water No. P-300-9211121923 was issued to 407747 Ontario Limited on May 26, 2023 to renew Permit No. 4341-8W3GFD for 10 years. Water will be taken from one watercourse, one pond, and one well for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes at the Oxbow Glen Golf Course, located in Komoka, Ontario.

This notice invited comments on the Southwestern Ontario Transportation Planning Study, which delivers on a commitment in Connecting the Southwest: a draft transportation plan for southwestern Ontario and is intended to support government decision-making to improve the transportation network. The feedback received has informed updates to the study

This decision extends the expiry dates of site-specific standards for suspended particulate matter, and benzene for Algoma Steel's integrated iron and steel facility in Sault Ste. Marie. The proposal was posted for 45 days to allow public input on the notices to extend the existing approvals’ expiry dates.
