The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-20-000276 to Great Bear Resources to undertake early exploration activities. The location of the activities is approximately 75 kilometres northwest of Wabasukang First Nation, Ontario, in Dixie Lake Area, District of Kenora, North West Region.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent for one new was granted on August 14, 2025, subject to conditions.

Certificate of Property Use (CPU) No. 6621-CY8SHW was issued to the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope on October 2, 2024.

We issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to GFL Environmental Inc. for an increase in daily tonnage at their existing waste processing site in Dorchester, Ontario, used for the treatment of excess soil.

Permit to Take Water No. 2655-DKPN5C was issued to Knollwood Golf Limited on September 9, 2025. Water will be taken from three ponds for golf course irrigation purposes, located in the City of Hamilton, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-6335964076 has been issued to 1425608 ONTARIO INC. for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from an irrigation pond and Gananoque River for golf course irrigation and a clubhouse well for water supply.

Permit to Take Water No. 2445-DHHQBJ has been issued to Kawartha Golf and Country Club for golf irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from four wells and one pond, located in the City of Peterborough, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 1836-DATPUB has been issued to T. Welch & Son Limited to renew Permit to Take Water No. 6346-9R8LA9 for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes. Water will be taken from one pond and three wells in the City of Ottawa, Ontario for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 5665-D97KHU was issued to Safety-Kleen Canada Inc. on September 27, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 3676-9QXQLU for industrial and water supply purposes. Water will be taken from three wells in Breslau, Township of Woolwich, Ontario for 5 years.

The Permit to Take Water No. 0415-DGM3MY was issued to Agnico Eagle Mines Limited on June 19, 2025, to renew the Permit No. 6305-C25R78. Water will be taken from two sources: the East Lake (also known as Kitchin Lake) and the East Creek, for ore processing purposes in Unsurveyed Territory in the District of Cochrane, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 0883-CWWRUU was issued to Ski Co Development Inc. on November 6, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 3683-8QZPMW for snowmaking and water supply purposes. Water will be taken from two ponds in Thunder Bay for 6 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 0461-DQGLCN has been issued to Lanark Condominium Corporation No. 9 , for the purpose of ongoing residence heating/ cooling needs of the building on Rogers Road, in the Town of Perth, County of Lanark. Water will be taken from three wells in the County of Lanark.

The Permit to Take Water No. 8372-DE7PKZ was issued to GIP Properties Corp. on March 26, 2025, for renewal of PTTW No. 7312-CJ4J9E. Water will be taken from one sump for industrial dewatering purposes, in the Municipality of North Grenville, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, Ontario, for 10 years.

On October 28, 2024, an amendment to O.Reg. 509/18, made under the Electricity Act, 1998 was filed to harmonize the efficiency standards for 42 products through rolling incorporation by reference to Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) standards, and to revoke obsolete efficiency requirements for three products regulated under O.Reg. 509/18.
