We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1151666541 on February 8, 2023, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 2107-8RVQYC, for Brydec Consulting Corporation for commercial recreation purposes. The permitted water taking will serve the Dragon’s Fire Golf Club in Hamilton, Ontario. The new permit expires on February 8, 2033.

We issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility to Zochem ULC, a zinc oxide production facility located in the City of Brampton, Ontario.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the, Cross River Ventures Corp McVicar C Project exploration permit application PR-21-000088 to undertake early exploration activities. The location of the activities is approximately 60 kilometres SW of Cat Lake First Nation Ontario

Decision to Issue

58-C-195676 was approved on December 27, 2019. The purpose of this decision is to create an easement for the purposes of ingress and egress over lands described as PIN 62505-0080 for the benefit of PIN 62505-1439: Lot 5 on Registered Plan No. 55M-638 in the Unsurveyed Territory, District of Thunder Bay.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval was issued to Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board for approval of upgrades to the existing works for the treatment of sanitary sewage and subsurface disposal of treated effluent from the re-developed Foxboro Public School located at 658 Ashley Street, Village of Foxboro, City of Belleville.

This renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 3642-B5MQL2 servicing Cable Bridge Enterprises Limited, for recreational water supply purposes, was approved on March 15, 2021 under permit No. 1627-BYJT5K. The permit expires on March 17, 2031.

On September 25, 2020 the ministry issued an exploration permit located approximately PR-20-000187 to Ian Dasti. for early exploration located approximately 75 kilometres south west of Gull Bay First Nation, Ontario, Holly Lake Area, Weaver Lake.

A provisional consent was granted subject to standard conditions on April 29, 2025. The last date to appeal the decision in May 19, 2025.

We issued an Amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) with Limited Operational Flexibility to Tiercon Corp., a facility that finishes automotive parts for the transportation manufacturing sector, located in the City of Hamilton, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on May 13, 2024 in respect of Application 58-C-230180 for one (1) of two (2) new lots on lands described as PIN 62315-0176 on Stewart Bay, Shebandowan Lake, District of Thunder Bay. A Notice of Change, dated March 5, 2026, has amended the list of conditions.

A decision was made on November 4, 2022 to approve, with modifications, the new City of Ottawa Official Plan.  The approved official plan outlines a comprehensive framework of new and revised policies to guide growth and development to 2046.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-22-000005 to Huntington Exploration Ltd. for early exploration activities approximately # 80 kilometres NW of Wabaukang First Nation, Ontario, in Corless Township and Dent Township District of Red Lake North West Region.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) to Imperial Oil Limited, a petroleum refining facility located in Nanticoke, Ontario.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued to 2114568 Ontario Limited for sewage treatment works serving Lakepoint Village, an existing adult lifestyle community with year-round residential dwellings located in the Township of Ramara, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on December 10, 2025 in respect of Application 60-C-249757 for a lot addition in the unincorporated community of Minaki, District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed is December 30, 2025.
