We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 3887-AYENPA on May 7, 2018, which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 3200-7X8HCP for Quinte's Isle Campark Incorporated located in Cherry Valley, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of April 30,2028.

An Environmental Compliance Approval with the Limited Operational Flexibility (Air & Noise) has been granted to Bunge Canada Holdings I ULC. The facility receives and processes oil seeds into vegetable oils and their by-products, located in Hamilton, Ontario. 

A new Permit to Take Water No. 2642-BULJTL has been issued to PCL Constructors Canada Inc. on January 26, 2021 for dewatering and remediation purposes located in Ottawa, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of July 26, 2026.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 60-C-191610 for the creation of one (1) new water access resource-based recreational lot for land described as PIN42150-1016, Pcl 5131, Loc G1503, on Hay Island, Lake of the Woods, Unincorporated Territory, District of Kenora.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) with Limited Operational Flexibility, which includes the addition of new or historically unapproved sources for all emissions, has been granted to CRH Canada Group Inc., located in the Town of East Gwillimbury, Ontario.

A decision was made on September 2, 2025, to approve, with modifications, the new County of Elgin Official Plan, as adopted by By-law 24-17. The new Official Plan is a long-range planning tool that will be used to help manage growth and development and implement goals and visions.

Provisional consent granted subject to standard conditions on July 30, 2021. The last date to appeal the decision is August 19, 2021.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing approved on July 7, 2021 the new County of Prince Edward Official Plan subject to eleven (11) modifications.  The Official Plan, as approved, is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement (PPS) 2020 and serves to guide land use planning decisions in the County.

A decision was made on November 5, 2020 to approve all of the Official Plan for the Town of Thessalon with sixteen (16) modifications.

On April 28, 2023, the Director of Mine Rehabilitation returned the certified amendment for refiling.

A decision was made on October 27, 2025, to approve the City of Kitchener Official Plan Amendment 59, as adopted by By- law 2024-212. The Official Plan Amendment 59 proposes to modify the implementation date for Inclusionary Zoning policies within Protected Major Transit Station Areas, changing it from January 1, 2025, to January 1, 2026.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1637438277 has been issued to 1282807 ONTARIO LIMITED renewing PTTW No. 3256-A77QFX for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from one pond located in Burlington, Ontario.

The Permit to Take Water No. 3063-DRZQJT was issued to Columbia Forest Products Ltd on March 9, 2026, to renew the Permit No. 0313-A32K88. Water will be taken from one pond for industrial (production of wood veneer products) prposes, located in Calvin, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 2750-DR6MKW has been issued to 2004295 Ontario Inc. renewing Permit to Take Water No. 0578-95BS28, for aggregate washing purposes. Water will be taken from one pond, in the Town of Caledon, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-8311235444 has been issued to ENWAVE ENERGY CORPORATION renewing Permit to Take Water No. 1036-BWBL84 for cooling water purposes. Water will be taken from five lake intakes located in City of Toronto, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-3162307002 V. 2.0 was issued to Brookfield Homes (Ontario) Whitby Limited on May 21, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. P-300-3162307002 V. 1.0 for construction dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from five sources in the Town of Whitby, Regional Municipality of Durham, Ontario for two years.

The Permit to Take Water No. 6518-D4VM64 was issued to Lafarge Canada Inc. on July 10, 2024, to renew the permit 0234-AAKNZ3. Water will be taken from 5 sources located in one pond in the City of Kingston, Ontario for different purposes of dewatering, aggregate washing, dust suppression, and construction purposes.

Changes have been made to Ontario Regulation 299/19: Additional Residential Units to facilitate the creation of additional residential units by removing barriers that would reduce or eliminate the need for rezoning or minor variances in certain cases. The amended regulation can be accessed here:
