We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 1777-CEZ2GG on June 1, 2022 for Insitu Contractors Inc. Water will be taken from one well for construction dewatering purposes, located in the Town of Scarborough, Ontario.

The new permit has an expiry date of June 1, 2023.

This decision is for a renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 3228-84YLHZ. Permit to Take Water No. 2126-BWSQSS was issued on December 31, 2020 for a period of 10 years for the purpose of golf course irrigation. Water will be taken from the Mattagami River.

Certificate of Property Use No. 8575-CVDNVA was issued on March 6, 2024, to ABNA Investments Ltd.. for 9 North Street, Kingston. The CPU will ensure the safe development of the property for commercial/industrial use should it be developed in the future.

We have expanded the boundaries of 19 protected areas (15 provincial parks and 4 conservation reserves) and corrected the name of Chapleau Nemegosenda River Provincial Park. These changes contribute to the long-term sustainability of Ontario’s natural heritage and provide increased opportunities for recreational activities.

This approval is for an amendment to an existing Environmental Compliance Approval No. 0222-ACMJZ2 for modifications to the existing subsurface disposal works servicing facilities at West Lake Willows Resort, located at 2028 County Road 12 in Prince Edward County, Ontario.

This decision extends expiry dates of site-specific standards for suspended particulate matter, benzene, manganese and manganese compounds for ArcelorMittal Dofasco's integrated iron and steel facility in Hamilton. The proposal was posted for 45 days to allow public input on the notices to extend the existing approvals’ expiry dates.

A decision was made on February 20, 2019 to approve the Official Plan for the City of Elliot Lake with seventeen (17) modifications.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-6158747377 on June 28, 2022 for Tribute (Simcoe Street) Limited. Water will be taken from one well for the purpose of construction dewatering located in the Town of Whitby, Ontario. The new permit expires on December 31, 2023.

A decision was made on April 11, 2023, to approve, with modifications, the new City of Barrie Official Plan, as adopted by By-law 2022-016. The approved new City of Barrie Official Plan outlines a comprehensive framework of new and revised policies to guide growth and development to 2051.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 6161-BPMQF9 on May 15, 2020 which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 6147-ANKPMB for "Crosslinx Transit Solutions Constructors" in Toronto, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of May 15, 2022.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 7318-BPHSD5 has been issued to Brookfield Country Club Limited, located in the City of Cambridge, Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Ontario on June 11, 2020 for commercial purposes. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of February 28, 2025.

On November 10, 2023, Ontario filed amendments to O. Reg. 679/21 (Community Net Metering Projects) and O. Reg. 389/10 (General) to remove administrative burden and clarify regulatory requirements to support innovation and customer choice. The amendments will come into effect on January 1, 2024.

A decision was made on November 15, 2024, to approve Amendment No. 2021-11 to the Official Plan of the Sault Ste Marie North Planning Board as adopted by the Board by By-law No.2021-11. The OPA will permit the creation of two 0.54 ha residential lots abutting Lake Superior, which is less than the 0.8 ha minimum lot size allowed by the official plan

A decision was made on August 15th, 2025, to modify and approve (in part), the City of Toronto Official Plan Amendment 575, as adopted by By-law 846-2022. A decision has been withheld on part of the amendment. The approved Official Plan Amendment 575 establishes twenty-two (22) major transit station areas.  

A decision was made on September 5, 2025, to approve, in part, Norfolk County Official Plan Amendment 163, with modifications, as adopted by By-law 2024-48. Official Plan Amendment 163 updates policies and land use designations to comply with the Planning Act and to be consistent with the Provincial Planning Statement.

A decision was made on August 15th, 2025 to approve the City of Toronto Official Plan Amendment 537, as adopted by By-law 1107-2022 without modification. The approved City of Toronto Official Plan Amendment 537 introduces the Keele-St.Clair Secondary Plan and delineates and plans for a protected major transit station area.

A decision was made on April 11, 2023 to approve, with modifications, Official Plan Amendment 80 to the City of Guelph Official Plan, as adopted by By-law (2022)-20731. Official Plan Amendment 80 implements the City of Guelph Official Plan's vision, urban structure, population and employment figures, density and intensification targets.

A decision was made on January 27, 2025, to approve the City of Toronto Official Plan Amendment 742, as adopted by By-law 862-2024 without modification. Official Plan Amendment 742 proposes two redesignations for portions of the sites located as 670 and 680 Caledonia Road and 2155 St. Clair Avenue West.
