While the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH) Transportation Plan for 2051 is still under development, this posting is being closed. The input from this notice that originated from 2017 informed the development of a comprehensive range of transportation planning goals and objectives that is providing guiding direction for the plan.
We have issued a new multi-media Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) to De Beers Canada Inc. that will allow for the operation of the existing 0.98-hectare landfill and a 1.44-hectare landfill for the disposal of non-hazardous solid waste and management of associated landfill leachate and stormwater runoff at the company's Victor Diamond Mine.
A new Environmental Compliance Approval is granted to 1863406 Ontario Inc. for stormwater management works serving Cherry Creek Greenhouses facility, located at 3530 Cherry Avenue in Lincoln, Ontario. The approved works include stormwater storage tanks and a wet pond, discharging via overflow into a municipal drain.
We have approved an amended Environmental Compliance Approval No. 0751-BP3SCT to Laplante Poultry Farms Ltd. for the expansion of the wastewater treatment plant, for the treatment of sanitary sewage and process wastewater at Laplante's poultry processing facility, in the Township of North Stormont, Ontario.

We have issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) No. 9256-7PKJQH to Hornepayne Power Inc., for the update of total site capacity, reclamation of wood waste, and changes to the monitoring program for the Woodwaste Disposal Site located at Hornepayne, Ontario.
In an ongoing effort to modernize the Environmental Registry and keep it current, we have identified this as a posting that is no longer pertinent or active.
On January 9, 2021 the ministry issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to Regional Disposal Services Inc. to allow an increase in waste receipt from 299 to 1000 tonnes per day, an increase in waste storage from 350 to 550 tonnes, and the receipt of up to 30 tonnes per day and storage of 60 tonnes of asbestos at their existing site in Hamilton.
