We have amended the renewable fuel regulations to increase blending requirements, improve the environmental performance of fuels, and recognize emerging low carbon fuel technologies.

We have issued an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) No. 0854-524QUQ to expand the operation of the site to include receiving, storing and transferring excess soils as defined in O.Reg. 406/19, and to change the hours of operation for the site.
We have expanded the boundaries of 23 protected areas (17 provincial parks and 6 conservation reserves) and corrected the name of Chapleau Nemegosenda River Provincial Park. These changes contribute to the long-term sustainability of Ontario’s natural heritage and provide increased opportunities for recreational activities.
