The Greenbelt Statute Law Amendment Act, 2023 that includes Schedule 1 - the Duffins Rouge Agricultural Preserve Act ,2023 (DRAPA, 2023), came into effect on December 6, 2023. A decision was made on February 19, 2026 to approve Amendment No. 1 to the Northumberland County Official Plan adopted by By-law 38-2021, subject to nine (9) modifications.
