A decision was made on Feburary 8, 2024 to approve, with modifications, the new Town of Iroquois Falls Official Plan, as adopted by By-law 3709/23.  The approved new Town of Iroquois Falls Official Plan outlines a comprehensive framework of new and revised policies to guide growth and development.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on October 23, 2020 in respect of Application 57-C-209695 for a 74-hectare lot addition on lands in Finan unincorporated township, District of Algoma. The last day this decision can be appealed is November 12, 2020.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-23-000277 to FULCRUM METALS NO. 2 (CANADA) LTD. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to: the permit has been withdrawn.

A decision was made on May 28, 2021 to approve Official Plan Amendment No. 30 (OPA 30) to the City of London Official Plan (The London Plan) as follows:

• Add policies to identify and implement Protected Major Transit Station Areas.
• Add new mapping to illustrate the routes and the Protected Major Transit Station Areas.

We have approved the amended Environmental Compliance Approval No. 8749-BEUKGN which includes six(6) subsurface disposal systems located on the Caledon Lake Company property, located on the shores of Caledon Lake.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-5298426276 has been issued to EHV Power Inc. for construction dewatering purpose as part of the Islington Transformer Station Project. Water will be taken from five wells, located in the City of Toronto, Ontario for one year.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on July 3, 2025 in respect of Application 60-C-259049 for a lot addition in the unincorporated territory of Lake of the Woods, District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed is July 23, 2025.

A decision was made on August 16, 2024, to approve, with modifications, Official Plan Amendment No. 20 to the City of Brockville Official Plan, as adopted by By-Law No. 066-2022.Official Plan Amendment No. 20 is a ten-year update to the city's official plan and contains new and revised policies to guide growth and development to the year 2046.

This proposal is for the renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 8404-7YBLB2 for Robins Holdings Inc. and is for commercial purposes including water bottling. The new issued permit No. 0022-CL9PPA was issued on November 17, 2022, with an expiry date of November 17, 2032.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on December 23, 2022 in respect of Application 54-C-213228 to sever the existing residential dwelling from agricultural lands, on the subject property known as 113377 Marshall Road, PIN 61271-0112, in the unincorporated township of Ingram, District of Timiskaming. 

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing proposed legislative amendments to the Municipal Act, 2001 to transfer jurisdiction over water and wastewater to the lower-tier municipalities in Peel Region and the introduction of a new standalone statute to authorize the establishment of water and wastewater public corporations.

G. Tackaberry and Sons Construction Company Limited application for a Class A licence to extract aggregate from below the water table has been issued. This new licence replaces aggregate licences #3944 and #4011.

A Certificate of Property Use was issued to the Regional Municipality of Waterloo for the property located at 188 Water Street South, in the City of Cambridge, on June 7, 2023.
