We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4820-CLNLD3 on November 30, 2022 to GIP Properties Corp. Water will be taken from one well for dewatering activities at the Henderson Quarry, located in Kingston, Ontario.

A decision was made on October 29, 2025, to approve with modifications, Official Plan Amendment 2 (OPA 2) to the Township of South Algonquin’s official plan, which was adopted by By-law 2024-789. OPA 2 updates municipal land use policies to conform with applicable provincial plans, policies, and statutes, and to accommodate growth to 2049.
