We issued Permit to Take Water No. 6258-BRDJ2M to CRH Canada Group Inc. on January 14, 2021. The Permit is a renewal of CRH Canada's previous Permit, and will expire on January 13, 2031. This Permit allows water taking from one pond and one well for aggregate washing purposes at Teedon Pit, at rates similar to previous Permits.

Certificate of Property Use No. 3151-D5PL88 (CPU) was issued to FS Orillia GP Inc. on June 2, 2026, as part of the development plans for the property located at 70 Front Street North - Central Parcel in Orillia, Ontario.

Approval is granted for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) for JC Enviro Inc., for a waste treatment and disposal facility located at 425 Kipling Avenue in the City of Toronto, Ontario. Approval is granted for emissions from the facility including a scrubber, laboratory, sludge solidification, and solvent repackaging process.

A Certificate of Property Use was issued to 77 James Hamilton Incorporated for the property located at 77 James Street North, Hamilton.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) has been issued to B. J. Halow & Son Constructors Ltd. for the operation of a mobile crushing screener plant, equipped with one primary jaw crusher, one secondary cone crusher, one screening plant, and three material transfer conveyors. The equipment will be used to process aggregate in Ontario.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued to Muskoka Rock Company for the operation of a mobile crushing plant.

The Ministry has revised the Northwest GTA Transmission Corridor’s Narrowed Area of Interest (NAI) following further technical study. The changes preserve a technically viable corridor for future transmission infrastructure adjacent to Highway 413 and reduce land use impacts, particularly in the Heritage Heights area of Brampton.

The minister has issued an overall benefit permit to Enbridge Gas Inc. for the construction of a natural gas pipeline that may impact Butler’s Gartersnake, which is a species at risk. The permit includes actions to benefit the species, minimize adverse effects, and outlines monitoring and reporting requirements.

Petersburg Sand Company Inc. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Wilmot. 

We have granted approval to Pave-Al Limited, located in Mississauga, Ontario, to be registered under the Technical Standards Registry – Air Pollution. This facility will adhere to all technical and operational requirements in the Asphalt Mix – Industry Standard under the Local Air Quality Regulation (O. Reg. 419/05).

An Environmental Compliance Approval was issued to Caledon Ski Club located at Lower Chalet Road, Part 9 of Reference Plan 43R-18511, Lot 11, Concession 4, Town of Caledon, Regional Municipality of Peel for sewage works consisting of sewage treatment and subsurface disposal system to serve the ski chalet.
