An amendment has been made to the renewable energy approval for the Grimsby Anaerobic Digestion Site located at 424 Sobye Road in Grimsby in the Regional Municipality of Niagara. The amendment will allow the facility to accept new waste types and increased waste tonnage, and to build new infrastructure on site.
On April 8, 2022, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 329/22. The Minister of Infrastructure requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.

This proposal is for the issuance of an Environmental Compliance Approval 20-OWE-71664 for Grand Bend Sanitation Services Inc. for a hauled sewage disposal site in South Huron, Ontario.
