Bill 134, the Affordable Homes and Good Jobs Act, 2023, received Third Reading on November 29, 2023. The Act amends the definition of “affordable residential units” in the Development Charges Act to lower the cost of building, purchasing, and renting these units.

Aggregate Resources Act Licence No. 3397 was revoked on July 29, 2020.

This notice was published in error and it is a duplicate of 019-7209. 019-7209 was posted on the Environmental Registry of Ontario on June 9, 2023, with a 30 day comment period ending July 9, 2023, and the decision was made to issue the mineral exploration permit PR-23-000154 to Metals Creek Resources on August 2, 2023.

The government has made changes that restore all 15 areas of land that were redesignated or removed from the Greenbelt in December 2022.

Permit to Take Water No. 2161-D3RNHZ was issued to AFTT Developments Inc. on April 15, 2024, to renew Permit No. 8753-93LK2T. Water will be taken from one well for water supply purposes.

Permit to Take Water No. 6405-DADLX4 was issued to Reid's Heritage Homes Ltd. on October 30, 2024, for construction dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from two wells located in the City of Guelph, Ontario.

This Application 60-C-140642 for Consent was given conditional approval on June 14, 2019 and was amended on June 12, 2020.  The last day to appeal this decision under the Planning Act is July 2, 2020.

This Application 60-C-189899 for Consent was given conditional approval on February 7, 2019 and was amended on January 10, 2020. The last day to appeal this decision under the Planning Act is January 30, 2020.

On July 19, 2024, Cotton Inc. advised the ministry that was not able to provide technical information requested. The application for an Environmental Compliance Approval has been withdrawn. No approval has been issued.

Pursuant to section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent to transfer a small portion of land between two residential lots to resolve an encroachment issue was granted on October 03, 2024, subject to conditions.

The Plan of Subdivision for 12 recreational lots on lands adjacent to Munro Lake, Munro unincorporated township, Cochrane District was redlined and granted approval subject to conditions on September 1, 2021. The last date to appeal the decision is September 21, 2021.

A decision was made on November 4, 2022 to approve, with modifications, the Region of York Official Plan, as adopted by By-Law 2022-40.  The approved official plan outlines a comprehensive framework of new and revised policies to guide growth and development to 2051.

Royal Canin Canada Company withdrew this application on April 2, 2025, and no approval was issued.

Application 60-T-216540 to create twenty (20) lots, and one (1) block on an island on Lake of the Woods was approved October 24, 2025, subject to conditions. The last date to appeal the decision under the Planning Act is November 13, 2025.

A decision was made on November 18, 2025 to approve, with modifications, Amendment No. 2 to the Northumberland County Official Plan adopted by By-law 13-2025. The approved amendment updates growth management policies and certain land use designations for the Northumberland County Official Plan.

On March 19, 2024, we issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) to Titan Transfer Inc. for a solid non-hazardous waste transfer station. The site is located at 2258 River Rd. in the City of London, Ontario.

A Certificate of Property Use was issued to Terraces of King George GP Inc. and Terraces of King George LP for the property located at 141 King George Road, Brantford on June 24, 2024.
