Concurrent with the decision to amalgamate licences No. 2129, No. 2130 and No. 2136, approval was granted to amend the consolidated site plan to create a more cohesive operational and rehabilitation plan for amalgamated licence No. 2129.

The minister has issued an overall benefit permit to Cando Rail and Terminals Limited for the expansion of a rail storage facility that may impact Butler’s Gartersnake, which is a species at risk. The permit includes actions to benefit the species, minimize adverse effects, and outlines monitoring and reporting requirements.

No changes are proposed to the enhanced minister’s zoning authority. The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing will exercise their discretion, on a case by case basis, in using the authority.

Permit to Take Water No. 7054-CXZLAM was issued to The Green Organic Dutchman Ltd. on January 4, 2024. Water will be taken from one pond and two wells for agriculture and water supply purposes at 1915 Jerseyville Road West in the City of Hamilton, Ontario.

On July 3, 2018, Ontario cancelled the cap and trade program. Given that the Electric and Hydrogen Incentive Program (EHVIP) and the Workplace Electric Vehicle Charging Incentive Program (WEVCIP) was funded through cap and trade proceeds, these programs have been cancelled.

Certificate of Property Use No. 6542-CXZNXT for 955 Lake Shore Blvd. West (Ontario Place – West Island), Toronto, was issued to 'His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario as Represented by the Minister of Infrastructure', as part of their development plans for the site.

The Minister of Energy, Northern Development and Mines issued a Minister’s Directive (approved by Order in Council No. 1351/2020, September 30, 2020), to the Independent Electricity System Operator requiring them to design, deliver and/or fund an electricity Conservation and Demand Management Framework between January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2024.

The government has made legislative changes to the Planning Act through the Fighting Delays, Building Faster Act, 2025 (Bill 60).

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on October 26, 2021 in respect of Application 60-C-216411 for the creation of one new lot for recreational use on lands described as PIN 42125-0911, Unincorporated Township of Kirkup, District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed is November 15, 2021.

An Environmental Compliance Approval was granted to GreyCan 8 Properties Inc. for a stormwater management works to serve a 1.53 ha industrial development located at 10 Aeropark Boulevard in the City of Hamilton, Ontario, within Lot 9.

The proponent requested to withdraw their application for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air). The application is considered withdrawn and no approval was issued.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (waste site) 19-PET-19048 for Kevin Blaney o/a Ks and B Septic was issued on July 31, 2019 for a hauled sewage site in Trent Lakes, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on December 10, 2025 in respect of Application 60-C-259028 for a lot addition in the unincorporated community of Minaki, District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed is December 30, 2025.

The Permit to Take Water No. P-300-7296284660 version 1.0 was issued to Red Lake Area Golf and Country Club on December 30, 2025. Water will be taken from one lake source (red lake) for the purpose of golf course irrigation, located in Balmertown, Ontario.

The variance is cancelled.

On August 16, 2024, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister's Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 327/24 in the City of Vaughan. The City of Vaughan requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.
