We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) to The Congregation of the Resurrection in Ontario for subsurface sewage disposal works.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 7617-BMVJWC on April 20, 2020, which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 3848-9Z4PY5, for Timber Ridge G.C. Inc. located in Brighton, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of April 02, 2030.

Permit to Take Water No. 7757-DMMPVZ was issued to Ivari on October 24, 2025. Water will be taken from two wells in Waterloo, Ontario for groundwater remediation purposes.

An aggregate licence was issued to Greenwood Construction Company Limited to remove more than 20,000 tonnes of aggregate annually from a pit. 

A Certificate of Property Use was issued to 1000608170 Ontario Inc. for the property located at 171 Guelph Avenue, Cambridge on September 16, 2024.

We granted a new Environmental Compliance Approval for a sewage treatment works servicing 1048547 Ontario Inc. operating as Skotidakis Goat Farm.

The Minister has issued an Endangered Species Act Overall Benefit Permit to Dalron Construction Limited for construction activities that will impact Blanding’s Turtle. The permit includes actions to eliminate and minimize adverse effects and provide beneficial actions for Blanding’s Turtle as well as monitoring and reporting requirements.

Amendment 1 to A Place to Grow: Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe is now in effect. The amendment includes changes to the population and employment forecasts, the horizon year for planning, and other policies to increase housing supply, create jobs, attract business investment and better align with infrastructure.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 3430-B6PL7E on January 9, 2019, which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 5233-A6HR22 for Enbridge Pipelines Inc. located in Augusta, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of November 30, 2021.

1394706 Ontario Inc. were issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Ottawa.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow Cedarwell Excavating Ltd. to increase the number of tonnes of aggregate to be removed annually for Licence No. 5007, operating in the Municipality of West Grey, County of Grey.

An aggregate licence (#625939) was issued to 356119 Ontario Ltd. (Ken Miller Excavating) to excavate aggregate material from a new pit operation 8.48 hectares in size. The annual tonnage is up to 20,000 tonnes.

Capital Paving Inc. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Woolwich.

The ministry has proceeded with issuance of the Certificate of Property Use (CPU) related to the property in Thunder Bay. The CPU specifies the risk management measures required for any future proposed development of the property. At this time, the current property owner is not proposing any development or a change in property use.

Certificate of Property Use No. 8575-CVDNVA was issued on March 6, 2024, to ABNA Investments Ltd.. for 9 North Street, Kingston. The CPU will ensure the safe development of the property for commercial/industrial use should it be developed in the future.

We issued Certificate of Property Use No. 6638-BR5NZC to 172965 Canada Limited for the 734 York Road, Dundas (Hamilton), Ontario property.

A Certificate of Property Use was issued to Woodhouse Investments Inc. for the property located at 50 Bordon Avenue South, Kitchener, on July 5, 2022.
