An amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) was issued to PPG Canada Inc., a sealant and coating mixing and repackaging facility located in the City of Mississauga, Ontario.
A decision was made to proceed with the proposal as described in Environmental Registry posting #013-1669, which will provide an extension to the current regulation for forestry operations in managed Crown forests, include those species listed in 2017 in applicable regulations, and implement changes relating to safe harbour authorizations.
A new regulation for additional residential units came into force on September 3, 2019. The regulation is needed to facilitate how changes to the Planning Act are implemented and to remove certain zoning barriers related to creating additional residential units.

Ontario Regulation 161/17 was amended to clarify that floating accommodations cannot be placed or used for outdoor accommodation or camping purposes on public land covered by water. Ontario Regulation 326/94 was also amended to make the same clarification for non-residents camping on public land in northern Ontario.
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing received a request from Matthews Canada on behalf of the QuadReal Property Group to make a Minister’s Zoning Order in the Town of Caledon. The Ministry is seeking input on whether this request should be considered and any additional information that may help inform the Minister’s decision-making

The Ministry of Mines (MINES) has implemented a Hobby Mineral Collecting Policy to provide guidance to hobbyists on the legal requirements for hobby mineral collecting.
A decision was made to approve a site-specific amendment to remove certain lands in the City of Richmond Hill from the Parkway Belt West Plan (PBWP) and the associated Minister's Zoning Order (MZO), filed as Ontario Regulation 474/73.
The PBWP amendment is approved as Amendment No. 239 and the MZO amendment is filed as Ontario Regulation 226/22.

We have updated some of the values found in Table 1 and Table 2 of the Nutrient Management Tables, part of the Nutrient Management Protocol, incorporated by reference into O. Reg. 267/03 made under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002. These changes ensure that the values in these Tables remain up-to-date and reflect current industry practices.

On July 18, 2025, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 159/25 with the Registrar of Regulations which amends the Zoning Order filed as 169/21 in the City of Markham.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1306194478 was issued to Alamos Gold Inc. on December 13, 2024 to amend Permit to Take Water No. Alamos Gold Inc. for mining purposes. Water will be taken from two wells at the Island Gold Mine site, located in Dubreuilville, Ontario for 3 years.
