A new Permit to Take Water No. 2765-CNVS57 on February 10, 2023, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 4265-8VDKFN for Waynco Limited for industrial aggregate washing purposes.

The permitted water taking will serve the Myer’s Pit in North Dumfries, Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Ontario. The new permit expires on February 1, 2033.

Permit to Take Water No. 1552-DH3P5Q was issued to ArcelorMittal Canada MP Inc. ArcelorMittal Canada PM Inc. and ArcelorMittal Canada Inc. on June 2, 2025. Water will be taken from one lake source for industrial purposes, located in the City of Hamilton.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 1078-CAJPVY on February 10, 2022 ,which cancels and replaces Permits to take Water No. 8761-B5NLCZ, 6326-B5NPES, 8767-B6NJX4, 2602-B6NLPS and 7044-B6NQ6D for Enbridge Pipelines Inc. for dewatering and construction purposes.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of December 31, 2032.

The site plan amendment for the Corporation of The Nation Municipality to lower the final depth of extraction in the Township of Plantagenet has been approved.

Nadin Contracting Ltd. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Thunder Bay District.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 2273-B5KPFG on December 5, 2018 which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 7443-A52Q78 for Enbridge Pipelines Inc. located in Frankford, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of October 31, 2021.

Approval was granted for Licence No. 625855 to allow Lafarge Canada Inc. to add a third phasing to the operation and change the final end use to a meadow by filling the pond. Approval was also granted for site plan amendment No. 2079 to change the final rehabilitation plan to allow the creation of a silt berm and remain post surrender.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow Erie Sand & Gravel Limited in the Municipality of Leamington to increase the area of below water extraction and also import up to 10,000,000 cubic metres of excess soil to this site for final rehabilitation.

This Permit to Take Water No. 2164-B65PJ6 for industrial purposes is to include the addition of one water taking source to the existing permit. The permit was signed on July 15, 2021 under permit No. 8141-C4QQCF.

Permit to Take Water No. 1473-D54JK9 was issued to WSC Corporation on May 15, 2024, 2024 to renew Permit to Take Water No. 3600-9FVR6R for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from two (2) well sources in the Township of Uxbridge, Regional Municipality of Durham, Ontario for 2 years.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent for a lot severance for agricultural purposes was granted on June 19, 2024, subject to conditions. 

The Permit to Take Water No. P-300-6228792213 V1.0 was issued to Miller Paving Limited on February 21, 2024, to renew the permit 5154-97AQAT. Water will be taken from one well for manufacturing and operational needs at the Durham Ready-Mix Concrete Plant, located in West Grey, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 8535-D92KLM has been issued to CRH Canada Group Inc. Water will be taken from one pond for quarry dewatering, dust control and aggregate washing purposes at the Campbell Quarry, located in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 0614-B5NJTP was issued, which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 0164-A4RTBV. The permit was issued on December 5, 2018 with an expiry date of October 31, 2021.

No approval was issued and the Ministry closed the file on August 13, 2022.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) with Limited Operational Flexibility to Evolution Mining Gold Operations Ltd., located in Redlake, Ontario.
