An Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air & Noise) which replaces all the current Environmental Compliance Approvals for Air and at this facility and includes the addition of new or historically unapproved sources for all emissions was issued to Park Derochie Inc.

Approval is granted for industrial stormwater management serving Doug Chalmers Inc., located at 6802 Highway 89 in the Municipality of West Grey. The stormwater management works comprise of two on-site oil/grit separators and will discharge to an existing storm sewer located at the site.

Approval is granted for existing storm sewer serving Speare Seeds Limited site, located at 99 John Street North, in the Town of Minto. The storm sewer outlet via an existing outlet pipe into the existing municipal ditch.

An amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (Air) No. 8264-73QN7D has been granted to Hudson Boats International Inc. This amendment is for the addition of a new priming paint booth and to reflect the current operations at the facility.

An Environmental Compliance Approval for a hauled sewage disposal site has been issued.

We have amended the Renewable Energy Approvals regulation to add eligibility requirements related to electricity demand. The amendments also prohibit a renewable energy approval from being issued for large wind projects if their power purchase agreements were cancelled by the Independent Electricity System Operator.

We decided to amend the Renewable Energy Approvals regulation to add eligibility requirements so that only projects with the appropriate municipal zoning can be issued a renewable energy approval.
