The minister has issued an overall benefit permit to Boblo South Development Inc. for the development of a residential subdivision that may impact Butler’s Gartersnake and Eastern Foxsnake, which are species at risk. The permit includes actions to benefit both species, minimize adverse effects, and outlines monitoring and reporting requirements.

The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects, actions to benefit the species, and monitoring and reporting requirements.

Approval is granted for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site - transfer/processing) for Waste Management of Canada Corporation to develop and operate a new enclosed non-hazardous recycling facility to receive solid, non-hazardous recyclables, (blue box recyclables), including various plastics, metals, and paper/fibres.

Permit to Take Water No. 4784-BBLLEK was issued. This a new permit for dewatering purposes. It was issued on May 6, 2019 with an expiry date of May 6, 2024.

Otter Creek Wind Farm GP Inc., as general partner for and on behalf of Otter Creek Wind Farm LP has requested to withdraw their application for the Otter Creek Wind Project.

Certificate of Property Use (CPU) No. 3055-BFVG73 for 15 Shorncliffe Road, Toronto was issued to Pinnacle International (Dundas) Ltd. as part of their development plans for the site.

A provisional consent was granted subject to standard conditions on June 14, 2023. The last date to appeal the decision is July 4, 2023.

We have issued a director’s order to National Steel Car requiring them to submit an application and supporting documentation for site-specific standards and an amended Environmental Compliance Approval by December 15, 2024.

Thames Valley Aggregates Inc. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit below the water table in the Municipality of Thames Centre.

We have approved amendments to the management direction for Nimoosh, Pukaskwa River, Gravel River, Kama Hills, Ruby Lake and Black Sturgeon River provincial parks to allow an electrical transmission to be built between Thunder Bay and Wawa. Amendments to Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park will not be included in this project.
