A new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) has been issued to 1559684 Ontario Inc. for the establishment of stormwater management works as part of the proposed Hall's Glen Estates development located on Lot 23, Concession 3, in the Township of Douro-Dummer, County of Peterborough, Ontario.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval is granted to Virgil Greenhouses Limited for an existing stormwater management works serving an existing greenhouse site located at 335-337 Hunter Road, in the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.

This decision is to renew Permit to Take Water No. 3556-8SNJB9 for St. Marys Cement Inc. (Canada) for industrial purposes. Water will be taken from one lake for the cooling of the cement kiln plant equipment, located in the City of Bowmanville, Ontario. Permit to Take Water No. 0018-C8WKXU was issued on January 13, 2022 for a period of 10 years.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the, Cross River Ventures Corp McVicar C Project exploration permit application PR-21-000088 to undertake early exploration activities. The location of the activities is approximately 60 kilometres SW of Cat Lake First Nation Ontario

Decision to Issue

We issued the approval to the hatchery comprises of fish raceway tanks, fish incubator tanks and fish aerated tanks. Effluent quality is managed through good operating practices of the hatchery, without the presence of additional dedicated process units, and are designed to meet effluent quality requirements prior to discharge to St. Clair River.

We approved a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Waste Site) No. 18-SUD-69297 for a hauled sewage site for Bob Tait Construction.

We have granted approval for Thunder Bay Pulp and Paper Inc. (formerly Resolute FP Canada Inc.) located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, to amend their existing registration under the Technical Standards Registry – Air Pollution. This facility will adhere to all technical and operational requirements in the Pulp and Paper – Industry Standard.

A permit to take water was not required.
