We are notifying the public that we issued an amendment to ESA Overall Benefit Permit #KV-C-007-15 to authorize the removal of additional Blanding’s Turtle habitat. The permit includes conditions to minimize adverse effects and provide beneficial actions for Blanding’s Turtle as well as monitoring and reporting requirements.
On November 15, 2021, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 771/21 to permit residential uses, commercial uses, institutional uses, trail system and new parks in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
On April 8, 2022, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 335/22 and Ontario Regulation 336/22. The Minister of Infrastructure requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Orders.
On January 26, 2024, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 10/24. The City of Toronto and Minister of Health requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.
