We have amended the Renewable Energy Approvals regulation to add eligibility requirements related to electricity demand. The amendments also prohibit a renewable energy approval from being issued for large wind projects if their power purchase agreements were cancelled by the Independent Electricity System Operator.
On July 10, 2020, we issued a Certificate of Property Use to the City of Thunder Bay in relation to the waterfront property and development of the proposed Thunder Bay Art Gallery. The CPU requires that a Certificate of Requirement be registered on title of the property.
A new Environmental Compliance Approval (Sewage) is granted to Canterbury Land Development Corporation, for the construction of stormwater management works designed to provide quality control prior to discharge to Lake Scugog.
