An amended Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued for Toda Advanced Materials Inc

We have approved the amendment for Environmental Compliance Approval No. 5738-8DVQ79 for Algoma Orchards Ltd. for the replacement of the two small existing leaching beds serving the Algoma Orchards.

In accordance with the Pesticides Act, Sheep fat has been added to the list of Active Ingredients Authorized for Cosmetic Uses (Allowable List).

Formerly Jackson Harvest Farms Ltd., now Esbaugh Management Group Ltd., was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Wilmot.

This variance has been approved.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow Aaroc Aggregates Ltd. to remove aggregate from below the water table in a pit located in the township of Zorra.

An amended licence was issued to Drain Bros. Excavating Limited in the Township of North Kawartha, removing three conditions.

This application for an Environmental Compliance Approval has been withdrawn.

Application 58-C-215736 was approved with modification on August 30, 2023 subject to conditions.  The last date to appeal with decision under the Planning Act is September 19, 2023.

A Certificate of Property Use was issued to the Corporation of the City of Brantford for the intended mixed use of the property located at 347 Greenwich Street, Brantford.

Application 58-C-258161 to create a new 3.3 hectare waterfront lot to be used for resource-based recreational use, was approved by the Ministry, subject to conditions. Related applications 58-C-258049 (ERO 025-0867) and 58-C-257936 (ERO 025-0860) were also approved subject to conditions.

This was for a Permit to Take Water for 1319536 Ontario Ltd. under Permit No.1816-CWNRXH, issued for 4 years. Water will be taken from one pond for golf course irrigation purposes at The Royal Golf Course in Mississauga, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 7236-C9FSZM on December 23, 2021, which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 7476-BHGQDL, for Cardinal Golf Club (Oliver's Nest) Inc. located in Little Britain, City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of December 15, 2031.

We have approved the amendment and issued a renewed Permit to Take Water No. 3036-BFNP2H for CRH Canada Group Inc. for dewatering, industrial, dust control and aggregate washing purposes.

We have made changes to the recreational size limits for walleye in Lake of the Woods in order to address risks to the quality of the fishery.

We are delivering on our Made-in-Ontario Environment Plan commitment to hold polluters accountable by expanding the use of administrative monetary penalties and modernizing the process to seize vehicle permits and plates. Once implemented, these changes will strengthen our enforcement tools to ensure compliance with environmental laws.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was granted for sewage disposal works that service 56 seasonal RV trailer sites, five seasonal cottages and one year-round single-family dwelling, located at 538 Clear Lake Road in the Township of Rideau Lakes, Ontario.

This proposal was for an amendment to Permit To Take Water No. 6358-9YNJU9 for industrial and water supply purposes for Magellan Aerospace Limited. Water will be taken from two (2) wells located in Haley Station, Whitewater Region, Ontario. Permit No. 6638-BU8GYS was issued on October 9, 2020 for a period of 10 years.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued to Moffatt Scrap Iron & Metal Inc., located in Campbeleville, Ontario. The facility recycles ferrous and non-ferrous metal.

We have approved the amendment of Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) No. 4426-687JLW to 1600997 Ontario Inc., an industrial powder coating facility located in the City of Sarnia, Ontario.
