The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-23-000038 to C. Cox for early exploration activities.

The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.

A decision was made on September 29, 2025, to approve, with modifications, the new Township of McGarry Official Plan, as adopted by By-law 2024-016. The approved new Township of McGarry Official Plan outlines a comprehensive framework of new and revised policies to guide growth and development.

A licence to operate a quarry was issued to C.H. Demill Holdings Inc. in the County of Hastings.

The ministry has amended existing Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) No. 6024-CKYJDA issued to Canadian National Railway Company for industrial stormwater management works serving CN Stuart Yard, located at 220 Harbour Front Drive, Hamilton, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent for a lot addition to address an encroachment was granted on February 22, 2024, subject to conditions.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent to sever a lot for continued residential purposes was granted on March 8, 2024, subject to conditions.

An aggregate licence was issued to Dufferin Aggregates to make changes to the conditions of their licence to operate the Flamboro Quarry.  The annual tonnage is 3.5 million tonnes and the licenced site operates in Township of West Flamborough, City of Hamilton.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (air) has been issued to North Aircraft Industries Inc., an aircraft components manufacturing facility located in the City of London, County of Middlesex, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent for a new lot was granted on May 13, 2025, subject to conditions.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision to revoke exploration permit application PR-20-000176 to New Dimension Resources Ltd. for early exploration activities near Savant Lake, Ontario.

The permit application has been withdrawn at the proponent’s request.

Approval is granted for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) (waste disposal site) for the use and operation of a waste disposal site for processing of liquid non-hazardous liquid soil.

We have closed the file and will not be issuing a Renewable Energy Approval for the Springfield Road Solar Project.

Dufferin Aggregates, a Division of CRH Canada Group Inc., application has been approved for a Class A licence to extract aggregate from above the water table.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on July 15, 2021 in respect of Application 54-C-207686 to create an easement for the purposes of access across PIN 61266-0116 in favour of PIN 61266-0117, in Sharpe unincorporated township, Timiskaming District. The last day this decision can be appealed is August 4, 2021.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent for a lot addition was granted on January 14, 2025, subject to conditions. 

This variance has been approved.

The application for the Permit to Take Water was cancelled by the ministry. No permit was issued.

Permit PR-19-000340 Issued. The exploration permit is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

Permit PR-19-000292 Issued. The exploration permit is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
