The Province of Ontario has passed Bill 212 which introduces the Reducing Gridlock, Saving You Time Act, 2024. This new Act provides a consistent approach to the oversight of the installation of bike lanes, where a lane of traffic is removed.
As part of our environmental assessment modernization efforts, the ministry has amended the Ontario Waterpower Association Class EA to better align EA requirements with the potential for environmental risk, eliminate duplication and streamline the process. This posting provides information on those changes and brings those changes into effect.

We have approved regulations to modify the existing environmental assessment process for four priority transit projects in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
On April 8, 2022, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 329/22. The Minister of Infrastructure requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.
On July 8, 2020, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 354/20 to permit 44 dwelling units in the form of modular supportive housing. The Minister's Zoning Order was made based on a request from the City of Toronto.
Certificate of Property Use No. 2467-CTXJKT for 15 Richardson Street (South Conveyance), Toronto was issued to 162 Queens Quay GP Inc., as part of their development plans for the site.
