Permit to Take Water No. 3807-BBRJJT was issued to The Summit Golf and Country Club, Limited. Water will be taken from two (2) wells for golf course irrigation. The Permit expires on December 31, 2028.

We issued an environmental compliance approval to YORK1 Millwick Transfer Station Ltd. (formerly The Recycling Depot GP Inc.) for their 48 Millwick Drive, Toronto location to allow an increase in site tonnage and add blue box materials.

We issued an approval to the Recycling Depot GP Inc. for their 156 Disco Road, Toronto location to increase the daily receiving rate from 700 to 4,000 tonnes per day, increase storage from 900 to 4,000 tonnes maximum, to add municipal blue box materials and to increase the hours of operation to 24 hours per day.

On December 4, the Affordable Energy Act, 2024 received Royal Assent, enabling the Ministry of Energy and Electrification (the ministry) to develop Ontario’s first Integrated Energy Plan, make it cost-effective to connect to the electricity grid, help reduce energy use to save money, and support the growth of Electric Vehicle adoption in Ontario.

Regulatory and policy changes under the Conservation Authorities Act were finalized to improve conservation authority governance, oversight, transparency, and accountability. They provide the flexibility needed to effectively develop budgets to deliver programs and services and were developed with the Conservation Authorities Working Group.

We issued the order to the Town of Atikokan upon consent on February 27, 2018. The order requires the town to complete upgrades to the municipal wastewater system within set timelines. A new PTTW no. 3457-CEDNMY has been issued to the Gananoque Golf and Country Club, Limited on May 26, 2022 for servicing the Gananoque Golf and Country Club, Limited located in Gananoque, Ontario.  The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of May 14, 2032.

We have amended the Environmental Assessment Act to remove the requirement for a comprehensive environmental assessment for the Eagle’s Nest mine project.

We finalized a new regulation that will allow the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority to issue administrative penalties for not abiding by the provisions in the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, 2016 and specified regulations.

The application submitted by Winters Earthmoving Inc. to amend their site plan has been approved.

Permit to Take Water No. 6328-DKGJMY was issued to The North Bay Golf and Country Club, Limited on September 29, 2025. Water will be taken from one well, one pond and one watercourse for the purpose of golf course irrigation.
