019-9213 Highway 413 Act - Over the decades, thousands of people have worked on and for preservation of Ontario's natural environment. Yet, with the flick of a pen, the Ford government seeks omnipotence, striving to negate all process and intent heretofore agreed upon. Environmental assessment was established to thoroughly consider environmental impacts before a project begins. The bigger the project, the more important the assessment. As a Taxpayer and Resident of Ontario, I object to the Ford government continuing to sidestep environmental assessments. I also object to reducing the right of Ontarians to comment and have their input be taken into consideration.
