My husband and I have lived in our home for over fifty years. The last four years we’ve been dealing with noise issues from the steel plant that have driven us in desperation to basically live in our basement! According to officials at Algoma steel, we are the only ones complaining about the specific noise that is driving us crazy. The noise starts off as a low hum, and ramps up to a level that you can’t ignore. I’d be interested to know if anyone else is dealing with this issue. We have contacted the Mpp office, ministry of environment and anyone else that we could think of to NO AVAIL!
