I am a part of multiple community groups who volunteer time and manpower to conservation efforts in Toronto, including cleaning the city of garbage and removing invasive plant species to let native species thrive.

More than 200 species of plants and animals are at risk of extinction in Ontario, this proposed act is abhorrent. We need the government to protect the complex ecosystems of our country, not to make it easier for corporations to strip & destroy them and removing the rights of indigenous peoples. There is plenty of land already occupied by humans that can be utilized to expand the economy.
