Ontario’s natural heritage belongs to everyone—not just developers and political interests.
The proposed weakening of endangered species protections risks irreversible harm to ecosystems already under pressure from urban growth. Reducing habitat definitions, sidelining scientific assessments, and easing permitting for harmful activities are dangerous steps backward.
I call on the government to prioritize genuine environmental stewardship, not short-term development gains.
