I strongly believe that the HABITAT of a wild animal must include the area the animal needs to find FOOD. There are wild animals that travel every day for miles and miles like the polar bear, the caribou, the wolves, the coyotes, etc. They need those areas for their survival. Therefore their TRAVEL ROUTES must be included as their habitat.
The areas where MIGRATING animals spend PART of the year must be protected and included as their habitat.
The Government should NOT have the right to REMOVE an animal from the endangered species list. This is a task that needs to be left in the hands of scientists who are 100 % independent of the government.
BIODIVERSITY is extremely important for the survival of the human species on planet Earth. Therefore human activities who put species at risk must be avoided. No exceptions granted. Human activities and new development must be restricted to areas where no species at risk live.
If we humans want to survive we must PROTECT the wild animals, the wild plants, the trees, creeks, rivers, lakes, wetlands etc that we still have. This is our RESPONSIBILITY concerning future generations of humans.
